SEAT ASSIGNMENTS NOW POSTED FOR TOMORROW'S $500 BUYIN DEEP STACKS
The Players for this Saturday's 1st Salisbury VFW $500 Invitational Deep Stacks is posted below. Click the Read More Button For Names. This list was posted at the request of some players who wanted to see who was invited. The tournament is an invitational with a $500 Buyin and $30,000 in tournament chips making it a Deep Stacks. To help out, dealers are being provided at each table throughout the entire tournament. For those that want to watch and or play the various cash and SNG tables, all are welcome.

Update: Saturday, June 13, 2009 - 23 Players showed up for the Mardela $300 Buyin Deep Stacks on Saturday.
This Saturday (June 13th) is the Mardela Fire Company's $300 Big Buy-in Deep Stacks. $30,000 in tournament chips and 30 minutes blinds throughout. $250 towards the prize. $65 SNG's start at 10AM with 1st and 2nd winning their $300 Buy-in. Click Here for details

(Update: Monday, June 8, 2009) The 27 Players have been confirmed for the June 27th $500 Invitational Tournament. They are starting an alternate players list. If you'd like to play, should one of the 27 not want to play, your name can be placed on the alternate's list. Contact Frank Ward or the VFW. In addition to the prize money, the 1st place winner will also receive a commerative plaque.
The Salisbury VFW has been asked to host a $500 Buyin Deep Stacks Invitational Tournament. The tournament will be held on Saturday, June 27th starting at 12 Noon. The Buyin is $500 Cash (No Checks) and tournament players will get $30,000 in tournament chips with 30 minutes blinds throughout. Doors will open at 11AM and there will be No Qualifying SNG's due to this event being by invitation only.

I’ve received a couple of emails recently and the latest post in the Forum (from pokerplayer dated 5/31/09) that I would like to address. I share their thoughts and concerns regarding the cheating issue of April 18th. As I’ve said in many posts, the cheating was suspected for a while. Many local players were helping the sponsors to catch Allen. Without their help it still could be happening. Many things were being done prior to Allen being caught. Many things are being done now. To list some of them would jeopardize what the “Authorities” are doing. I realize players want to know what, who and when (then can be told). Unfortunately, the only thing I can report is what led to Allen being caught was part of things being done. The “post” investigation regarding players who bought similar type chips has not panned out as of yet. Names don’t match, addresses, while close don’t match players.
